Escarpment Web Co (“we”, “us”) is run by Heath Elliott Taylor Jacquin (ABN 96 674 874 587). We collect as little information as we need to run the business, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Public business details (name, address, phone, hours, services) that you or directories have published, which we use to build previews.
- Contact details you give us by email or through the enquiry form on this site, such as your name, business name, phone and suburb. The form opens your own email app, so nothing is stored on this website.
- Payment details, handled entirely by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To build and look after your website and reply to your messages.
- To send invoices, receipts and reminders about your plan or domain renewal.
- To contact businesses about a free preview. Every message says who we are, and we stop contacting anyone who asks us to.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting), Zoho (email) and Google Drive (our business records). We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
AI tools
We use AI tools (including Anthropic’s Claude) to help build websites, draft emails and keep our records. That means public business details, and messages you send us, may be processed by those tools while we do that work. A person reviews every website before it goes live and every email before it’s sent, and we don’t use your information for anything other than working with you.
This website
This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (like IP addresses) to keep the site secure.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time. Email hello@escarpmentweb.com.au.
