I live in Keiraville, at the foot of Mt Keira. I started Escarpment Web Co after noticing how many great Illawarra businesses run on word of mouth and a Facebook page, and miss the customers who search online first.

No. You see the finished preview first and only pay the $249 if you want the site to go live.
How long does it take?
Your preview usually arrives within a few days. Once you're happy and have paid, going live on your domain normally takes a day or two.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, and if you ever leave, I'll hand over the site files so anyone can host it.
What does a domain cost, and who pays it?
A .com.au address is usually around $20–30 a year, paid directly by you to the registrar so it's always in your name. I set it all up and remind you before it renews.
Do I need the monthly care plan?
No, it's optional. Without it, I hand the site over to you once it's live, and hosting and changes are up to you. The plan is there if you'd rather never think about it.
Can I cancel the care plan?
Yes, any month, just by emailing me. There's no lock-in contract. If you cancel, I'll give you the site files and help you move it.
I already have a website. Can you help?
Yes. If your current site is slow, outdated or hard to use on a phone, I can build a fresh one. Send me the link and I'll quote before doing anything.
I have a Facebook page. Do I still need a website?
Keep the Facebook page! I'll link it from your site. A website helps people who search on Google find you, and unlike social media, it's yours.
Can I use my own photos and logo?
Please do. Real photos of your work or shop always look best. If you don't have any, I'll use quality stock images until you do.
How do I pay?
By card through a secure Stripe payment link. I never see or store your card number. Care plans are charged automatically each month.
What's your refund policy?
Because you approve the finished site before paying, the $249 build fee isn't refunded once the site is live. Care plans are month to month: cancel any time and you won't be charged again. If something I promised isn't delivered, I'll make it right. See the terms.
